What are bundles?
Meal Deal Bundle: A curated selection of individually wrapped items grouped into one package. Customers order everything in one click, often at a discounted price.
Large Bundle: A group ordering solution with mains, sides, and drinks packaged together for teams, offices, or events.
Bundle Best Practices
Meal Deals:
- Offer at least 2-3 options
- These could include: main + side or main + side + drink, or even a side + drink
- Price range: £10-£15 (standard) | £17-£20 (premium- could be a more premium ingredient/ filling)
- Include dietary requirement coverage
- Consider premium options with and without drinks/ desserts
Large Bundles:
- Include variety (mains, sides, drinks)
- Cover all dietary needs
- Simplify group ordering
- Increase average order value
How to Create a Bundle
Step 1: Access Menu Editor
- Go to Menus
- Select your live menu → Change Menu
- Click Edit on the draft version
Step 2: Create Bundle Section
- Click + sign to add section
- Click Pen icon to name section → Click ✓ (Example name: 'Meal Deals' or 'Bundles')
- Click Create New Item
- Select Item Bundle
Step 3: Add Bundle Details
Required Information:
- Name: e.g., "Meal Deal for 1" or "[Your Restaurant] Large Bundle"
- Price per person: this must include VAT. All items must be similar price for vat reasons(no premium add-ons like steak for £2 extra)
- VAT: Select correct rate
- Description: Customer-facing text
- Image: Upload/drag photo
Step 4: Set Minimum Order
- Meal deal: Minimum = 1

Large bundle: Set minimum to preferred headcount
(e.g., £12/person × 20 people = £240 total)
Step 5: Create Bundle Groups
Organise items into:
- Mains
- Sides
- Drinks
- Add-ons (optional)
To add new items:
- Search for existing items in search bar
- If item doesn't exist: Click CREATE NEW SINGLE ITEM → Fill details → Save and Return

Bundle Group Types
Choose how customers select items:

| Choice | Choose up to [x] items from the options | Pick 1 main from 3 options |

*Note: For upgrades, create item first, then adjust price
Finalise Bundle
- Click Save and Return (twice)
- Send menu to review
