City Pantry is following the guidance released by the government (found here) and is working closely with our vendor and delivery partners to stay up-to-date with and implement the advice. Current advice from the NHS and the government is that it is: “very unlikely it [Coronavirus] can be spread through things like packages or food.”
What steps are City Pantry taking with vendors around the Coronavirus outbreak?
We have made the following requirements clear with our vendor partners:
- If a member of their staff or a visitor is diagnosed with a case of COVID-19: They must notify City Pantry immediately. As a precautionary action, we will suspend the vendor account and any affected courier as per official advice.
- If our vendor partner is unable to fulfil your order: we will look to find an alternative restaurant offering the same type of cuisine and serving style, where possible
- If you want a specific statement on the Coronavirus from a vendor: Please reach out directly to the vendor partner
What steps are City Pantry taking with couriers around the Coronavirus outbreak?
We have made the following requirements clear with our delivery partners:
- If a member of staff or a visitor is diagnosed with a case of COVID-19: They must notify City Pantry immediately and we will ensure all relevant parties are notified and are aware of the government advice
