A same-day order is when the customer places an order on the same day as the scheduled delivery date. These orders are subject to a 3-12 hour notice period, as determined by you, and a 15-minute order acceptance Service Level Agreement (SLA).
When setting up your profile, you can indicate whether you can accommodate same-day orders. Each location has the flexibility to establish its own headcount capacity for same-day orders. If a specific location is unable to accept same-day orders, please set the '3-12 hours' notice option to 0. This action ensures that the location does not appear in search results when customers place their orders.
Should the capacity of a location to fulfil same-day orders change, navigate to 'Account' > 'Addresses' > 'View/Edit,' and scroll down to 'Headcount Capacity' to update this information. This self-serve function allows you to make changes as frequently as necessary. Keeping this information current ensures that customers can only place same-day orders from restaurants and locations capable of fulfilling them.
